Putting your reels and videos on your own store home

Why the reels and YouTube videos you already made should not live only on Instagram.

If you have put in the effort making reels about your brand, whether it is behind-the-scenes footage, a product showcase, or a founder's story, that content usually lives and dies on Instagram. It gets seen for a day or two in feeds, and then it is buried under everything posted after it, effectively invisible to anyone who visits your profile a month later.

A "Behind the brand" section on your store home

Your Varchas store lets you embed reels and YouTube videos directly on your store home, under a section called "Behind the brand." This means the content you already made does not stay locked inside Instagram's feed logic. A visitor arriving at your store for the first time, maybe through a friend's recommendation or an affiliate link, can see your process, your story, or your products in motion without needing to go find your Instagram profile separately.

Why this matters for a new visitor

Product photos tell a visitor what something looks like. A video showing how it is made, how it fits, or the story behind why you started the brand tells them something photos cannot. This is especially useful for a visitor who has never heard of your brand before and is deciding, in the space of a minute, whether to trust it enough to buy.

Reusing what you already made

The real advantage here is that this content already exists. You do not need to shoot anything new specifically for your store. Reels you have already posted, or YouTube videos you have already uploaded, can be pulled directly onto your store home, giving that content a second, more permanent life beyond its original day or two of visibility on social media.

Where this fits with your storefront theme

The "Behind the brand" section works alongside the rest of your storefront theme and hero settings, so the videos sit within a store that already reflects your brand's look, rather than feeling like a separate embedded widget. A visitor moves from your hero image, through your catalogue, to a section showing your process and story, all within one cohesive page.

Keeping this section current

There is no requirement to update this section constantly. A handful of good videos that represent your brand well can sit there for a long stretch without needing refreshing. When you do make something new worth sharing, whether it is a video around a new Drop or a general brand update, it is straightforward to add it in alongside what is already there.

Not a replacement for Instagram

This does not mean you stop posting on Instagram, since that is still where a lot of your discovery and daily engagement happens. It simply means the content you create is no longer stranded there. Instagram remains where people find you, and your store becomes the place where that content has a permanent home alongside your actual products.
