What do I send my WhatsApp list when a product is back in stock?
Restock message templates with the order link, plus a way to personalise them for people who asked about the product.

Few messages are as welcome as "the thing you wanted is back". Someone on your list may have asked about this exact product last month. Your restock message turns their patience into a purchase, if you write it clearly and tell the truth about what you have.
I cannot promise any message gets orders. These templates are meant to be clear and kind, and you should adapt them to your own voice.
First, check your stock
Do not send until the product is physically in your hands and the store shows the right count. Writing about stock you do not have creates cancellations and apologies. If your count is uncertain, check it before the message goes out. Dealing with overselling and out-of-stock orders helps if things go wrong.
Template one, the plain restock
- Hi [name], [your name] from [shop].
- [Product name] is back in stock.
- Rs [price]. Colours and sizes available are [list].
- Order here: [store link]
- Reply here for any questions. Reply STOP to leave the list.
Template two, for people who asked
Use this when you have a note of who asked about the product. It is a personal message and should go to them individually, not as a mass blast.
- Hi [name]. You asked me about [product name] a while back. It is back.
- Same [material or recipe] as before. [Mention any change honestly.]
- Rs [price]. Here is the link: [store link]
- Let me know if you would like me to help choose a size or colour.
Keep a "restock list" note whenever someone asks "when will it be back". See instagram caption templates for sold-out products for how to start that list.
Template three, restock with a note on timing
- Hi [name]. [Product name] is back, and the next batch will be a while away.
- If you want one, now is a good time to order: [store link]
- Rs [price].
Say "next batch will be a while away" only if you know that. If you do not, leave the line out. Never pretend scarcity.
What to include
- The product name, spelled the way it appears on your store.
- The price.
- The variants available, so nobody clicks and finds their size missing.
- The link, on its own line.
- A way to reply and a way to leave.
What to leave out
- Claims about how many people are waiting.
- Phrases like "last chance" when it is not.
- A promise of a date for the next restock, unless you are sure.
- Long product descriptions. The store page carries those.
Follow up with one reminder, at most
If a day or two passes and you want to nudge people, send one gentle follow-up with something new, such as a photo from a customer or a mention that two sizes are nearly gone, if that is true. More than that is pressure.
Update your public pages
After you message your list, update your Instagram with a post, as in Instagram caption templates for restock announcements. The list hears first, the public hears next, and both land on the same store link.
