Which Diwali gifting bundles can a small brand put together?
Build gift bundles from products you already sell, price them with box and labour included, and check the margin before you announce anything.
You do not need a new product line to sell gifts at Diwali. Most small brands can build bundles from items already on their shelf. The craft is in choosing combinations that make sense and checking the margin before you tell anyone.
Start from what you already sell
Open your product list and group items by who might receive them. Think about the buyer's problem: they want something easy to give that looks considered. Good bundles solve that.
Here are some ways to combine what you have.
- A starter bundle. Your best-known product plus a smaller add-on, aimed at someone trying you for the first time.
- A pairing bundle. Two items that go together in use, like something to use and something to keep it in.
- A variety bundle. Small sizes or different flavours or scents of one product, so the receiver can try several.
- A tiered set. A smaller, mid and larger bundle, so buyers can choose by budget.
I am deliberately not telling you what shoppers will buy this year. Look at your own order history for the items that sell together and begin there.
Build the bundle from slow movers carefully
Bundles are a natural way to move an item that sells slowly by pairing it with a favourite. Use this sparingly, since a bundle with a weak item can look like clearing out the shelf. Pick a weak item only if it genuinely goes with the strong one.
Check the margin with real arithmetic
Adding items together is not the same as adding profit. Walk through it.
Say product A costs you Rs 120 to make and sells at Rs 250, and product B costs you Rs 80 and sells at Rs 180. Separately they total Rs 430. Your box, tissue and card for the bundle cost Rs 45, and you value your packing time at Rs 15 per bundle. Your total cost is 120 + 80 + 45 + 15 = Rs 260. If you sell the bundle at Rs 399, you earn Rs 139. If you discount it to Rs 349, you earn Rs 89. These numbers are invented, but the steps are the ones to follow: add item costs, add box and labour, subtract from the bundle price, and decide if what remains is enough. Keep the stock honest
Each bundle uses up the individual products inside it, so a rush on bundles can quietly empty your single-item stock. Decide how many bundles you can make and cap it. Update your counts when they sell.
Present the bundle clearly
Name the bundle plainly, show what is inside in one photo, and say what is not included. In your caption, tell people the price and the order cut-off. For wording, see festive gifting message ideas for WhatsApp and Instagram.

Test small first
Make a few of each bundle, photograph them, and offer them to your closest customers on WhatsApp. Their questions will tell you what to change before you scale up. Do not batch a hundred boxes before you know what people choose.
