How do I choose the pickup address Shiprocket collects from?
The Pickup Address field on the Shipping tab lets you pick from addresses already saved in your Shiprocket panel. Here is how it works and what to do when the list is empty.

When you ship an order, the courier needs to know where to collect the parcel. In your Varchas admin that is the Pickup Address field, found under Settings, then the Shipping tab, beneath the two shipping charge fields. Its hint reads "where Shiprocket collects parcels".
It is a dropdown, not a form
You do not type an address into this field. It is a dropdown that lists the pickup addresses you have already saved in your Shiprocket panel. Each option shows the nickname you gave the address, then the city and pincode, for example a nickname followed by a city and a six-digit pincode. Pick the one you want and press Save Settings.
There is also a "none" option at the top. Choosing it clears the saved address.
Where the addresses come from
The list is fetched from Shiprocket each time you open the Settings page. It is not stored in Varchas. That keeps the dropdown honest: if you add or remove an address in Shiprocket, reload the Settings page and the list follows.
This also means the admin does not create pickup locations. Adding a new address happens in the Shiprocket panel. The note shown in the admin points you to the place: Settings, then Company, then Pickup Addresses, inside Shiprocket. Once you have added it there, come back, reload the page and the new address appears.
What you will see when the list is empty
If Varchas cannot get a list from Shiprocket, the dropdown is replaced by a short read-only note. This can happen when you have no saved address in Shiprocket, or when Shiprocket's connection is not available at that moment. The note says either that no pickup address is set, or which one is currently saved, and repeats the instruction about adding one in the Shiprocket panel. Whatever was already saved is kept when you save the rest of the form, so an unrelated change to your store name will not wipe your pickup choice.
What the pincode is for
When you save a new pickup choice, Varchas looks up the matching pincode from the same Shiprocket address and stores it alongside the nickname. You never type the pincode, which means the two cannot drift apart. The admin only asks Shiprocket again when you actually change the choice. If it cannot reach Shiprocket at that moment, or if the address you picked has since been deleted there, the save is refused with a message asking you to try again or pick a different one.
A common slip
A saved pickup address that was later deleted in Shiprocket still shows in the dropdown, labelled "not in panel". That is the admin telling you the choice is out of date. Pick a current address and save.
What this setting does not do
Choosing a pickup address does not book a collection and does not guarantee that a courier will arrive on a particular day. It only tells the system which of your Shiprocket addresses parcels should be collected from. Courier availability, pickup schedules and charges are Shiprocket's and your courier's business, and are worth checking in your Shiprocket account.
For the wider picture on couriers and pincodes, shipping across India is a good companion read, and once orders are moving, order tracking your customers can trust explains what your buyers see.

- Add or confirm your pickup address in the Shiprocket panel first.
